"Praying for Armageddon: Evangelicals, the US and the Middle East"

Who are these Evangelicals?  Is it a religious group of people, or are these members of a cult?

"Evangelicals believe that every sinful person by nature must endure an eternal punishment in hell, but that by faith in Jesus (though not by the merit of their good works committed in this faith), they can attain salvation and go to paradise."

"Evangelical theology is the teaching and doctrine that relates to spiritual matters in evangelical Christianity and a Christian theology. The main points concern the place of the Bible, the Trinity, worship, Salvation, sanctification, charity, evangelism and the end of time."

The scary part is that some members of one party have been known to follow Satanic rituals, while some of the the other are pushing for a major global war to realize their religious fantasies.

The Episodes:

"Episode 1 of a doomsday political thriller about evangelical Christian influence on US foreign policy in the Middle East.

The first episode of Praying for Armageddon goes inside the evangelical Christian movement to explore its influence on US democracy and foreign policy.

Preparing for the “end times”, a grassroots pastor gathers an army of veterans in the heartland of the United States, and megachurch ministers provide spiritual advice to politicians in the nation’s capital."

"They call for the “final battle” which they believe will trigger the second coming of Christ. Central to their apocalyptic prophecy is Israel. It is with their blessing that the Trump administration controversially recognises Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and moves the US embassy there in 2018."

“It feels like everyone has a say about the destiny and the future of Jerusalem except for the Palestinians living in it,” says Palestinian activist Fayrouz Sharqawi."

"Praying for Armageddon is a documentary film by Tonje Hessen Schei."

Evangelicals and politicians who follow their theory should consider the following:

  1. God's first Commandment is "Thou shall not kill", which rules out wars.
  2. When some of the Apostles asked Jesus, Master when is the end of times, he answered, only the father knows.  In other words, not even Jesus knew.
  3. Drying to force the hand of God is never a good idea; every thing is according to his plan.  Men pushing for a major war to force God's action is ridiculous at best.
  4. If some really can't wait to go to heaven, there are many ways to end ones life to find out if one qualifies, so why take others against their will with you?

  1. One needs to be careful what one asks/prays for, and to whom such prayers may actually be directed...
