This film, although two hours long, should be watched by all (16 years and up) inhabitants of this earth.
These days commercial media is hard at work to dull our senses, to condition us to accept the likelihood of a Thermal Nuclear War, without wide protest against the current world leadership. Some politicians, the world over, salivate at the idea to start World-War III against Russia, despite warnings that dead and destruction, for most, are the end result.
It is not a far stretch to imagine that a mismanaged country, or union of countries, on the verge of bankruptcy, seeks an opportunity to hide its insolvency, from its people; a war can hide anything. When chaos reigns nobody asks monetary questions, preservation of life takes center-stage. For example, COVID-19 found all kinds of money to pay people prevented to work, or prevent businesses from going out of business as a result of it, etc. Very few people asked where is this money coming from? Paper and ink together with a giant printing machine was the solution, apparently. Flooding the market with new money will weaken the currency involved; inflation will be the result, impacting the standard of living, worse war planners will work overtime.
As admitted at the end of the film, the actual devastation, in reality, is likely much worse than depicted by this movie.
