Every year it is the same lie! Whatever little increase they announce elderly get is ravaged by the ever-increasing Medicare premiums, which reduce the little crumbs elderly receive significantly. It is no wonder that the number of the very poor is larger every year. Not too long ago we were talking about Millionaires, while today our taxes are stuffing the pockets of Billionaires. We are talking about a factor of 1000 times more for the rich, in a relatively short period of time. Where is this sickening increase in wealth coming from? You guessed it; it comes from robbing the Citizenry with the help of favorable tax laws for the wealthy.
The fact that the money printing presses are, likely, running around the clock, de-valuating the dollar, which affects the already meager purchasing power of the struggling population. Well-known Economists say: the next planned crash of the economy will be paid for with the people's saving accounts and gross inflation reducing the national debt by repaying it with cheap (think worthless) dollars; Lebanon style, I say.
