"Cancer is Not Common Among the Amish"

Cancers are very rare in the Amish community, probably because their food supply comes directly from their fields and pastures, devoid of chemical additives, apparently.  As a boy I spent my summer vacations on different German farms, learning about the way of natural food production and animal husbandry.  Later in my life, when visiting family in Pennsylvania, I regularly visited the Amish community in Lancaster, PA.  During these visits I was able to exchange different ideas, on how to hitch an OX before the Plough, for example.  In Lancaster the Ox was pulling the Plough with his chest (like a Horse), while in Bavaria, Germany it was harnessed to pull the Plough, for example, with its head and neck.  At the time, the Amish farmer was very interested in this new idea for him and said he would try that, it made sense to him.

Cancer: "It may seem like a distant possibility, but within the Amish enclave, the occurrence of cancer is exceptionally rare. Many people believe that it has something to do with their produce. These homegrown treasures are free from the harmful chemicals often found in conventional produce, potentially safeguarding them from cancer risks."

Currently our processed foods are loaded with questionable chemicals, to ease manufacturing, artificial colors for appearance, etc. etc.  While very few consumers have the opportunity to grow their own vegetables, we can nevertheless shop more wisely.  Anything that is boxed or canned is something to think twice about before buying it.  We must learn to read the ingredients carefully, as a general rule, if you can't pronounce it, it is probably bad for your body.

Of-course there is always the choice to buy organic.  The question is can we afford it?  It comes down to paying for it now or pay the doctors later, who may or not be able to save our lives.  We, far too long, stood idly by while food processors are, more or less, poisoning our food supply.  The media is no help either; investigative journalism is not well and alive, at present.

  1. The Amish spend time in the sun, and get vitamin-D that way. I don't think many got the gene-therapy COVID "vaccines"...
