"How Israeli soldiers killed 15 medics in Gaza and lied about it"

Not only has the Israeli IDF killed 15 Medics but to add insult to injury they lied about the circumstances, to hide their criminal actions, by totally distorting the true facts.  A phone video/recording found at the killing site provided the true account.

Fully knowing their criminal acts they buried everything, however, their wrong deeds were unearthed, as the truths eventually must come to the surface.

Evidently the IDF is no better than the infamous SS of the Hitler regime during WW II, they may even be worse by all accounts.

Perhaps the world is trying to makeup for their past sins, when countries, the US included, refused to allow ships, laden with Jewish refugees, to dock sending them back to the country they were trying to escape from.  However, two wrongs do not make a right.

A phone video/recording found at the killing site provided the true account.

by Naharnet Newsdesk

"The Israeli military backtracked on its account of the killing of 15 Palestinian medics by its forces last month after phone video appeared to contradict its claims that their vehicles did not have emergency signals on when troops opened fire on them in the Gaza Strip.

The military initially said it opened fire because the vehicles were "advancing suspiciously" on nearby troops without headlights or emergency signals. An Israeli military official, speaking late Saturday on condition of anonymity in line with regulations, said that account was "mistaken."

The footage shows the Red Crescent and Civil Defense teams driving slowly with their emergency vehicles' lights flashing, logos visible, as they pulled up to help an ambulance that had come under fire earlier. The teams do not appear to be acting unusually or in a threatening manner as three medics emerge and head toward the stricken ambulance.

Their vehicles immediately come under a barrage of gunfire, which goes on for more than five minutes with brief pauses. The owner of the phone can be heard praying.

"Forgive me, mother. This is the path I chose, mother, to help people," he cries, his voice weak.

Eight Red Crescent personnel, six Civil Defense workers and a U.N. staffer were killed in the shooting before dawn on March 23 by Israeli troops conducting operations in Tel al-Sultan, a district of the southern Gaza city of Rafah. Troops then bulldozed over the bodies along with their mangled vehicles, burying them in a mass grave. U.N. and rescue workers were only able to reach the site a week later to dig out the bodies.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society's vice president, Marwan Jilani, said the phone with the footage was found in the pocket of one of its slain staffers. The Palestinian ambassador to the United Nations distributed the video to the U.N. Security Council. The Associated Press obtained the video from a U.N. diplomat on condition of anonymity because it has not been made public.

One paramedic who survived, Munzer Abed, confirmed the veracity of the video to the AP. Two block-shaped concrete structures visible in the video are also seen in a U.N. video released Sunday showing the recovery of the bodies from the site — a sign they are in the same location.

Asked about the video, the Israeli military said Saturday that the incident was "under thorough examination."

One medic remains missing

The head of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, Younes Al-Khatib, called for an independent investigation. "We don't trust any of the army investigations," he told a briefing at the U.N. on Friday.

One medic, Assaad al-Nassasra, is still missing, the Red Crescent says. Abed said he saw al-Nassasra being led away blindfolded by Israeli troops. Al-Khatib said the organization has asked the military where it is holding the staffer.

Al-Khatib said the slain men had been "targeted at close range" and that a forensic autopsy report would be released soon.

Israel has accused Hamas of moving and hiding its fighters inside ambulances and emergency vehicles, as well as in hospitals and other civilian infrastructure, arguing that justifies strikes on them. Medical personnel largely deny the accusations.

Israeli strikes have killed more than 150 emergency responders from the Red Crescent and Civil Defense, most of them while on duty, as well as over 1,000 health workers, according to the U.N. The Israeli military rarely investigates such incidents.

Ambulances under a barrage of Israeli fire

Ambulances started heading to Tel al-Sultan at around 3:50 a.m. on March 23, responding to reports of wounded, Jilani said. The first ambulance returned safely with at least one casualty, he said. But, he said, subsequent ambulances came under fire.

His hands trembling, Abed told the AP on Saturday that as his ambulance entered the area, its siren lights were on. "All of a sudden, I am telling you, there was direct shooting at us," so intense that the vehicle ground to a stop, he said.

A 10-year veteran of the Red Crescent, Abed said he was sitting in the back seat and ducked to the floor. He said he could hear nothing from his two colleagues in the front seat — the only others in the vehicle. They appear to have been killed instantly.

Israeli troops, some with night goggles, dragged Abed out of the ambulance and onto the ground, he said. They made him strip to his underwear, beat him all over his body with their rifle butts, then tied his hands behind his back, he said.

They interrogated him, asking him about his paramedic training and how many people were in the ambulance with him, he said. One soldier pressed the muzzle of his automatic rifle into his neck. Another pressed his knife blade into Abed's palm, almost cutting it, until a third soldier pulled them away and warned Abed, "They're crazy."

Abed said he witnessed them opening fire on the next vehicles to arrive. Soldiers forced him onto his stomach and pressed a gun into his back, he said, and amid the shooting in the darkness, so he could only see two Civil Defense vehicles.

Video shows medic's terror

The phone video shows a rescue convoy of Red Crescent and Civil Defense vehicles that was sent out after contact was lost with the stricken ambulance. Taken from the dashboard of one vehicle, it shows several ambulances and a fire truck moving down a road through a barren area in the darkness. The emergency lights on their roofs are flashing the entire way.

They arrive at an ambulance on the side of the road and stop next to it, their lights still flashing. No Israeli troops are visible.

"Lord, let them be OK," a man in the car says. Then he cries out, "They're tossed around on the ground!" — apparently referring to bodies. Three men in orange Civil Defense clothing can be seen getting out of the vehicles and walking toward the stopped ambulance.

A shot rings out and one of the men appears to fall. Gunfire erupts.

The man holding the phone appears to scramble out of the car and onto the ground, but the screen goes black, though the audio continues. The gunfire goes on for nearly five and a half minutes, with long, heavy barrages followed by silences punctuated by individual shots and shouts and screams.

Throughout, the man with the phone says over and over, "There is no God but God and Muhammad is God's prophet" — the profession of faith that Muslims say when they fear they are about to die. Near the end of the six-minute, 40-second video, voices can be heard shouting in Hebrew. "The Jews are coming," the man said, referring to Israeli soldiers, before the video cuts off.

The Israeli military official asserted there was "no mistreatment," and said he didn't know why the vehicles had been buried. He had no information about the medic who remained missing.

Israel claims they found militants afterward

The Israeli military says that after the shooting, troops determined they had killed a Hamas figure named Mohammed Amin Shobaki and eight other militants. However, none of the 15 slain medics has that name, and no other bodies are known to have been found at the site.

The military has not said what happened to Shobaki's body or released the names of the other alleged militants. The Israeli military official said Israel was "working to bring evidence" that Hamas operatives were killed.

Jonathan Whittall, interim head in Gaza of the U.N. humanitarian office OCHA, dismissed allegations that the slain medics were Hamas militants, saying staff had worked with the same medics previously in evacuating patients from hospitals and other tasks.

"These are paramedic crews that I personally have met before," he said. "They were buried in their uniforms with their gloves on. They were ready to save lives.""

When Netanyahu Speaks Trump Listens Intently

Who is in control here?

"Trump set to meet Netanyahu as Gaza burns, tariffs take spotlight"

"President Donald Trump is set to host Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on Monday, marking their second meeting since Trump returned to office.

The visit – confirmed Saturday by both U.S. and Israeli officials – comes as Israel expands military operations in Gaza.

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant has said Israel plans to seize large swaths of the enclave to incorporate into its so-called security zones.

The meeting follows last month’s Israeli airstrikes that broke a fragile cease-fire, part of a campaign to force Hamas to accept new truce terms backed by Washington.

The renewed offensive has added hundreds of Palestinian deaths on top of the already existing tens of thousands.

Israel has vowed to intensify its military campaign in Gaza until Hamas releases the remaining hostages taken during the Oct. 7, 2023, incursion that ignited the ongoing conflict in the enclave.

Tel Aviv has also halted all supplies of food, fuel and humanitarian aid into Gaza.

Netanyahu's office said in a statement on social media that he and Trump would discuss “the tariff issue, the efforts to return our hostages, Israel-Türkiye relations, the Iranian threat, and the battle against the International Criminal Court.” Israel faces a 17% tariff.

Netanyahu is wanted by the court for alleged crimes against humanity in Gaza. The U.S. is not a member of the court.

In February, Netanyahu became the first foreign leader invited to the White House during Trump’s second term.  Emphasis added.

Their meeting focused on Israel’s attacks on Gaza and next steps as a cease-fire deal took hold.

At a joint news conference afterward, Trump proposed that displaced Palestinians in Gaza be permanently resettled outside the territory and that the U.S. take “ownership” in redeveloping the area into “the Riviera of the Middle East.”  Emphasis added.

Palestinians objected to leaving their homeland, and Arab nations and rights groups sharply criticized the idea.

That February meeting gave Netanyahu a chance to highlight the Trump administration’s support for Israel, defend the conduct of the war, and distract from political pressures at home.

Those pressures have only grown as Israelis protest both the lack of a deal to bring remaining hostages home and Netanyahu’s moves to fire the head of the country’s domestic security agency and its attorney general.

In a statement Saturday, relatives of hostages held in Gaza pleaded with Trump to “please use all your power to pressure Netanyahu to end this war and bring our hostages back now.”  Emphasis added.

“We are addressing President Trump: Netanyahu is lying when he says that military pressure will bring back the abductees. The only way to quickly return all the abductees is to end the war and return them all in one fell swoop,” Ifat Calderon, the aunt of hostage Ofer Calderon, said in Tel Aviv, Israel.  Emphasis added,

Hamas says it will only release the remaining 59 hostages in exchange for the release of more Palestinian prisoners, a lasting cease-fire and an Israeli pullout from Gaza.  Emphasis added.

The Oct. 7 incursion on southern Israel killed about 1,200 people.

Some 251 hostages were taken, most of whom have since been released in cease-fire agreements and other deals.

More than 50,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza as part of Israel’s offensive, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.

Meanwhile, police arrested two of Netanyahu’s close associates this week on suspicion of accepting money from Qatar to promote a positive image of the Gulf Arab state in Israel. Qatar, a key mediator for Hamas in its negotiations with Israel, denies backing the group. Netanyahu says the case is baseless.

The prime minister is also the subject of a long-running corruption trial and frequently rails against what he calls a “deep state” that he alleges is out to get him.  Emphasis added.

Trump says the first foreign trip of his second administration will include stops in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and possibly the United Arab Emirates, as well as “other places.” The trip could happen as soon as May. Trump has said he wants to reward Saudi Arabia for its investment in the U.S. and that all three Gulf countries will make commitments to create jobs in the U.S. during his trip."

BERNIE SANDERS-US SENATOR - HAS THE FLOOR

An update by Bernie Sanders; his speech is now part of the Congressional Record for future generations to view and to study the war crimes committed at this time in history, which can never be denied, as a result of it.  There is a big difference between the German Government's crimes against humanity during the Third Reich and now.  From personal experience, the writer knows that ordinary Germans had no idea what was going on, there was no TV's, nor Internet, no honest Media, which was also the mouthpiece of the Government, and so was the radio.  In stark contrast, not only Americans know what is going, so does the whole world.  The concentration camp in Dachau, near Munich, was better guarded than the 'US Area 51'.  Trespassers get arrested in the US, in Germany they got a bullet between the eyes, during those times.

Another contrast can be mentioned, the Nazis were diligent to hide their crimes, nowadays it happens all in plain sight, nobody cares, the TV is used to show the gruesome results of their criminal deeds; nobody cares who might be offended by it all.  The law of the land no longer means anything; any inconvenient statute or ruling is simply ignored, as a matter of convenience.  Evidently, 'true free speech' is now a thing of the past; criticizing Israel is now a crime, apparently. People get into trouble with the law it seems.

"Arab countries on Thursday strongly denounced Israeli airstrikes on Syria as a violation of international law and an assault on Syrian sovereignty.

In a statement, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry called the Israeli attacks "a flagrant violation of international law and a blatant infringement on Syria’s sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, exploiting the internal situation in Syria.”

Egypt urged influential international actors to "shoulder their responsibilities regarding Israel’s repeated transgressions, compel Israel to end its occupation of Syrian territories and respect the 1974 disengagement agreement.”

Jordan’s Foreign Ministry termed the Israeli attacks "a blatant breach of international law, a stark violation of Syria’s sovereignty and unity and a dangerous escalation that will only fuel further conflict and tension in the region.”

The ministry reiterated Jordan’s "absolute rejection and severe condemnation” of Israel’s ongoing assaults on Syrian territory, calling them a clear violation of the 1974 disengagement agreement between Israel and Syria.

It reaffirmed the kingdom’s "full solidarity with Syria, its security, stability and sovereignty.” It urged the international community to "uphold its legal and moral responsibilities, compel Israel to cease its provocative and illegitimate attacks on Syria and end its occupation of parts of its territory.”

Qatar’s Foreign Ministry called the Israeli attacks "a clear violation of Syria’s sovereignty and international law.”

The ministry urged the international community "to take immediate action to ensure Israel complies with international laws and halts its repeated attacks on Syrian territory, warning of the risk of further regional escalation.”

It reaffirmed "Qatar’s unwavering support for Syria’s sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity as well as the Syrian people’s aspirations for security and stability.”

Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Ministry denounced the attacks and emphasized "the need for the international community, particularly the permanent members of the (U.N.) Security Council, to fulfill their role by standing resolutely against these ongoing Israeli violations in Syria and the region and to activate international accountability mechanisms.”

Iraq expressed its "severe condemnation” of the airstrikes and repeated incursions into Syrian territories.

It demanded that the international community "bear its responsibilities to stop these violations, protect civilians and respect the rights of peoples to live in security and peace.”

In a statement, Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Israeli attacks on Syria, saying, "These assaults represent a continuation of Israel’s blatant violations of international law and international legitimacy resolutions and a dangerous escalation that could further intensify violence and tension in the region."

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) issued a strong condemnation of the strikes, calling them "a new link in a series of attempts by the Israeli occupation forces to undermine and destabilize regional and international security.”

The Palestinian resistance group Hamas said the assault on Syria was "part of the policy of arrogance and recklessness pursued by the terrorist Netanyahu government," linking it to "Israel’s fascist aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza, the West Bank and Jerusalem."

Lebanon’s Hezbollah group condemned the Israeli aggression in a statement, expressing full solidarity with what it described as a "brotherly" Arab country.

"We condemn these crimes and affirm our full solidarity with brotherly Syria, dear Yemen, proud Palestine and their peoples. We call on all free people around the world to raise their voices loudly against this unjust aggression,” it said.

Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes targeting several sites in the capital, Damascus, and the western provinces of Hama and Homs on Wednesday.

Israel’s military claimed the strikes struck "military capabilities that remained” at the Hama air base and T4 base in Homs, along with other military infrastructure in Damascus.

The Israeli army also launched a ground offensive in Daraa in southern Syria, where at least nine people were killed, according to local authorities.

After the fall of the Bashar al-Assad regime in December, Israel expanded its occupation of the Syrian Golan Heights by seizing the demilitarized buffer zone, a move that violated a 1974 disengagement agreement with Syria.

Israel also took advantage of the regime's fall to launch hundreds of strikes that targeted military sites and assets across Syria, including fighter jets, missile systems and air defense installations, according to reports."

Viktor You Appear To Be A Levelheaded Guy But You Keep the Wrong Company, To Our Horror. Shame, Shame, and Shame!

"Hungary to exit International Criminal Court as Israeli PM visit"

"Hungary announced Thursday that it will begin the process of withdrawing from the International Criminal Court, with Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s Chief of Staff Gergely Gulyas confirming the decision.  Emphasis added.

He argued that the decision was in line with the country's constitutional and international legal obligations.

The news follows the arrival of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the country for a four-day official visit.

Netanyahu's visit to Hungary marks the first time he has set foot on European soil since the ICC issued an arrest warrant for him last November over accusations of war crimes in Gaza.

Human rights groups, including Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch, have called

on Hungary to arrest Netanyahu if he travels to the country and hand him over to the ICC.

Last November, the ICC issued arrest warrants for both Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel is facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice over its military actions in Gaza, where it has killed more than 50,400 people since the Oct. 7, 2023 attacks by the Palestinian group Hamas.

Countries condemn ICC withdrawal decision

Many countries condemned Hungary's decision to withdraw from the ICC.

"It is deeply regrettable that Hungary is withdrawing from the Rome Statute, the founding treaty of the International Criminal Court," Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot wrote on X.

Prevot noted that Hungary would be the only EU member state not included in the Rome Statute.

"This is a significant setback for international justice and the fight against impunity for the most serious crimes, including genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes, and the crime of aggression," he said.

Prevot warned that this decision risks fostering a world where "might makes right."  Emphasis added.

"It is important to remind Hungary that as long as it has not officially withdrawn, it remains bound to respect the Statute and to cooperate fully with the Court, including by complying with the arrest warrants it issues," he added, tacitly pointing to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's current visit to the country.

Prevot also reiterated Belgium's constant support to the ICC, highlighting that it places "fundamental importance" on upholding the court's independence and impartiality.

Germany also criticized Hungary's decision to leave the ICC.

"This is a bad day for international criminal law," Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock told journalists in Brussels on the sidelines of a NATO foreign ministers' meeting.

"Europe also has clear rules here that apply to all EU members, and that is the Rome Statute. I have repeatedly made it clear that no one in Europe is above the law, and that applies to all areas of law," she added.

The Rome Statute is the treaty that established the court."

Apparently it becomes evident that the current Israeli Prime Minister appears to be the strongest leader in the western world.  Some of the lesser world leaders do his bidding, fight his wars, help in the murderous genocide going on in Palestine, by supplying weapons, money and shield him by vetoes in the UN security counsel, etc.

Apart from US taxpayer/Lobby monies, what possible information does he have to garner their compliance and protection?
